Why Bullying?
Bul·ly·ing; A form of abuse involving a
perceived imbalance of power.
The term is primarily
used to describe childhood victimization, however bullying
continues throughout life under the guise of different names.
Regardless of
age, race, sex or social standing, the common thread that underlies this
experience is a feeling of powerlessness.
Bullying is a destructive, taught behavior that spans generations and is exhibited in many forms of social interaction.
It is found in schools, at work, at home, in politics and in entertainment. To think bullying only involves children downplays the enormity of this global behavior.
